Dakota Fanning To Join "Twilight's" Kristen Stewart for New Film

No, we're not talking about "New Moon" yet, but we'll get to that later. First, Dakota Fanning is in negotiations to star in the movie "The Runaways." She'll play Cheri Currie, the lead singer of the 70s all-girl band also called The Runaways.

As we told you last December, "Twilight's" Kristen Stewart was hired to play Joan Jett in the film. Shooting is set to start in late spring.

Now, here's the crux. Both actresses are going to be busy working in..."New Moon" the "Twilight" sequel!

If we're going to believe the Daily Variety, the article says, Fanning "is also booked to play a vampire in the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon."

If that's true, then Stewart and Fanning will be the busiest actresses this year, finishing "New Moon," then "The Runaways," then back to "Twilight" paradise with the third installment, "Eclipse."

Whew....

First Look: "Salt" Starring the Fierce Angelina Jolie!

Last summer, Angelina Jolie replaced Tom Cruise
in the film "Edwin A. Salt." Well, the movie will sound ridiculous with a title "Edwina Salt" so, it's now trimmed to a more inspiring "Salt."

And according to the LA Times, Jolie begins work today on the film, "a spy thriller about a rogue CIA operative who tries to clear her name after she is accused of being a Russian sleeper agent — perhaps falsely, perhaps not."

If you think it sounds very Jason Bourne-ish, you are not alone!

But Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura says, "Salt is different because the character is trying to hide truths about herself rather than discover them. "The question of Jason Bourne is 'Who am I?' "

"The question of Salt is, 'We know everything about her, but do we?' (Her pursuers) have a ton of information to act on, but that's where they begin to question what is real and what isn't."

Salt shoots in Washington and New York City. It opens in 2010. To read the complete article, please click here.

Leonardo DiCaprio Joins Christopher Nolan for "Inception"

As we reported last month, "The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan is hatching his new project, a sci-fi film called "Inception."

Now, Nolan found his lead!

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in the film, also written by Nolan for Warner Bros.

As for most Nolan films, "Inception" will be visceral, cerebral, but with lots of heart!

I love Nolan, as well as DiCaprio, so this is very exciting!

The film is set to begin shooting this summer for a 2010 release.
