Why "Twilight" Producers Think "Breaking Dawn" Could Begin Shooting This Fall

Many twihards have been wondering when the fourth installment of the super-popular "Twilight" franchise will go on production. Well, apparently, scriptwriter Melissa Rosenberg (who wrote all the "Twilight" films) is currently busy adapting "Breaking Dawn" and producers believe the film could being shooting this fall.

But there are two bigger questions -- first, will the fourth film be divided into two parts ala "Harry Potter" and second, how will the character Renesmee be portrayed?

For die-hard "Twilight" book lovers, they all know that Renesmee is the half-human/half-vampire daughter of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) who grows super-quick than the average human kid.

Wyck Godfrey, one of the producers of the "Twilight" films said the answer to the Renesmee dilemma lies in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

DGA Announces Nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentaries

The Directors Guild of America has announced the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary for 2009.

The winner will be revealed at the 62nd Annual DGA Awards Dinner on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

I love all these documentaries, so try to check them out when you can. My favorite to win is Louie Psihoyos for "The Cove," a great documentary about the senseless killing of dolphins in a cove near Taijii, Japan.

But "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" is near and dear to my heart as well.

And now, the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary for 2009 are:

Anvil! The Story of Anvil
(Metal On Metal Productions)
This is Mr. Gervasi's first DGA Award nomination.

Garbage Dreams
(Iskander Films, Inc.)
This is Ms. Iskander's first DGA Award nomination.

Food, Inc.
(Robert Kenner Films)
This is Mr. Kenner's first DGA Award nomination.

The Cove
(Oceanic Preservation Society and Roadside Attractions)
This is Mr. Psihoyos' first DGA Award nomination.

The English Surgeon
(Eyeline Films)
This is Mr. Smith's first DGA Award nomination.

Daniel Craig to Replace Robert Downey Jr. in "Cowboys & Aliens?"

Robert Downey Jr. bowed out of the sci-fi western film "Cowboys & Aliens" citing scheduling conflicts. He was set to star as the gunslinger Zeke Jackson for his "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau but the actor is just busy, busy, busy.

So Daniel Craig is stepping in, although reps for the James Bond actor said it was too early to confirm.

Based on the 2006 graphic novel, "Cowboys & Aliens" is about extraterrestrials who land in Arizona in the mid-19th century. Now, a group of cowboys and Apache Indians must bond together to fight these out-of-this world creatures.

The film written by "Star Trek" vets Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof is being produced by DreamWorks which is planning to release the movie in summer 2011.
