"TROPIC THUNDER" RED BAND TRAILER -- TOO HOT FOR TV AND THEATERS!!!

There's a growing buzz about this film co-written and directed by Ben Stiller. First, the character that Robert Downey Jr. is playing, is an award-winning Caucasian actor who undergoes some weird operation so he can play an African American.

Then, Tom Cruise's cameo as an overweight producer is garnering lots of praises. Many insiders are now thinking about him for roles he wasn't considered before!

MICHAEL MOORE REVEALS FOLLOW-UP TO "FAHRENHEIT 9/11"

Where are we now as America, and as Americans -- questions Michael Moore is going to try to answer in his planned follow-up to "Fahrenheit 9/11." Just don't call it a sequel:

"To just say it's a sequel is so wrong," Moore told The Associated Press on Friday at the Cannes Film Festival, where he met with potential international distributors for the film, due out in 2009.

"It would be easier and safer to make a sequel, if that's all it was, but this isn't about Bush. We all know this. Regardless of who the president is come November, we have a big mess, a big, big mess to be cleaned up, and I don't know whether it can be cleaned up," Moore said.

"Fahrenheit 9/11" became the biggest money-making documentary ever, raking in $100M at the box-office. It's a thoughtful, scary, and incendiary flick, that was way ahead of its time!

Years later, many great documentaries examining America's business with the war on Iraq came out, but none as powerful and trailblazing as "Fahrenheit 9/11."

I enjoy Moore as a documentarian. He's good at creating insightful yet entertaining flicks. And I can't wait to see his planned follow-up, and I'm not calling it a sequel :wink

"PRINCE CASPIAN" DETHRONES "IRON MAN"

"The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" pushes off "Iron Man" as ruler at the box office, taking in $56.6 million.

Don't feel sorry for our good friend "Iron Man" though. So far, its domestic total has reached $222.5 million, and many industry insiders are saying that the film is holding its appeal better than "Spider-Man 3."

The number 3 flick? The comedy "What Happens in Vegas," starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, took in $13.9 million, with a domestic total of $40.3 million, well above its $35 million budget.
