I really, truly admire the Divine Miss M, Miss Bette Midler. In the new action-adventure tailor-made for kids, "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore" (out in theaters, July 30), Midler voices the character Kitty Galore. In this interview, we talked about:
*** Her attraction to the character
*** Voice work vs. Acting
*** Palm Springs, my hometown!
HAVE FUN!

I had fun talking to Chris O'Donnell. He plays Shane, the cop partner of Diggs, voiced by James Marsden, in "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore."
In this interview, we talked about:
*** His attraction with the character
*** How his kids will enjoy the second film (they're fans of the first!)
*** Cats or dogs
*** Will Kimmy (his dog) like the second movie?

Christina Applegate (Catherine) and James Marsden (Diggs) voiced characters in the new film "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore." Check out all the cats and dogs nuttiness in this funny interview.

It was Leonardo DiCaprio vs. Angelina Jolie at the weekend box office and ultimately, Leo led the pack. "Inception," written and directed by Christopher Nolan, remained the No. 1 movie in America with $43.5 million raising its 10-day total to $143.7 million. (Find out why I called "Inception" one of the best films this year by clicking here)
Jolie's "Salt" must settle for No. 2 but still debuted with a solid $36.5 million. (Check out my "Salt" movie review right here)
Meanwhile, "Despicable Me" featuring Steve Carell settled at No. 3 with $24.1 million raising its domestic total to $161.7 million. (Check out my "Despicable Me" movie review right here)
And like what I said last week, I'm very happy that the top 3 films are all original creations -- not a prequel, a sequel, a remake, or based on a comic book or previous incarnations. Being original can payoff.
Here's the Top 10 list of box-office films for weekend of 07/23/10:
1. "Inception," $43.5 million.
2. "Salt," $36.5 million.
3. "Despicable Me," $24.1 million.
4. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," $9.7 million.
5. "Toy Story 3," $9 million.
6. "Ramona and Beezus," $8 million.
7. "Grown Ups," $7.6 million.
8. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," $7 million.
9. "The Last Airbender," $4.2 million.
10. "Predators," $2.9 million.
