FIRST IT'S "RAMBO," NOW....IT'S "CONAN THE BARBARIAN!!!"
Lionsgate films, purveyor of pop-culture junk food! First, they're releasing "Rambo" on Jan. 25th. Now, talks are being made that "Conan the Barbarian" will return to the big screen!
Listen, I love "Conan" as much as you do, but this new film version will not star the famous celeb-Governor from California!
As you may totally recall, the original 80s film launched the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger. But now, owners of the Robert E. Howard created character are treading carefully. Why not? There are profits from comic books, video games (Xbox 360), and online role-playing games at stake!
Here are some fun facts:
* The film will be written by Thomas Dean Donnely and Joshua Oppenheimer (the guys who gave us the equally junkie "Sahara")
* Production is set to begin later this year DEPENDING on the Writers strike!
