"Knowing" Wins Box-Office Race

Nicolas Cage avoided professional calamity and received box-office success instead with his new film, "Knowing." The so-so flick wowed American audiences who put "Knowing" at the top spot with $24.8 million in ticket sales!

Even Cage's astrophysicist professor character in the film won't be able to predict this box-office glory! Meanwhile, my pick of the week, "I Love You, Man" debuted at No. 2 with $18 million, and the Julia Roberts-Clive Owen romantic thriller, "Duplicity" opened at No.3 with $14.4 million barely inching over previous No. 1 film, "Race to Witch Mountain" which fell to No. 4 with $13 million.
