Dying Girl's Wish Granted by Disney/Pixar

Colby Curtin, a 10-year-old cancer-stricken girl, wanted to see the Disney-Pixar film "Up" but she was too sick to go to a theater.

But thanks to a family friend who called Pixar, Colby was able to see the film before going to heaven.

Colby was heard saying, "I'm ready (to die), but I'm going to wait for the movie." Aw :sad

The little girl was diagnosed with vascular cancer in 2005, and she planned to seeing the animated adventure after watching the previews for the film in April.

Upon receiving the call from family friend, Terrell Orum, Pixar sent an employee to Colby's house the next day with a copy of "Up," stuffed toys, and movie collectibles.

But by the that time, Colby couldn't even open up her eyes to watch the movie, so her mom was narrating "Up" for her. After the film, the girl said she loved the movie. That night, Colby died :sad

Aw...way to go Disney and Pixar for brightening the last few hours of a brave little girl dying of cancer. For what it was, at least the last film Colby saw on Earth was a great one, something she can treasure all the way UP in heaven :happy
