Nicolas Cage is getting a "My Bloody Valentine 3-D" treatment.
The actor just signed to star in Nu Image/Millenium Films' "Drive Angry" from the writing-directing team of "My Bloody Valentine," Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer.
Lussier will direct from a script he co-wrote with Farmer. According to The Hollywood Reporter:
The story centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.
The film sounds like a bloody videogame! Oh, and "Drive Angry" will be shot and released in 3-D!
The film is being planned to go into production in April in Louisiana.
