Hold on dirty minds, don't start twittering yet. This planned move is for an upcoming buddy-cop film that both Reynolds and Cooper agreed to do.
Both actors are attached to star in an action-comedy from writer Sheldon Turner, the guy who gave us "Up in the Air." Reynolds and Cooper will play San Francisco cops who must get their respective ex-police fathers out of retirement to help them solve a case.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusive told us that this film is going for a "Lethal Weapon" vibe -- meaning, edgier R-rated flick. Once upon a time, this project was called "Blowback" and Dwayne Johnson was attached to star.
With Reynolds and Cooper on board, this film may take-off very soon. Although, there's no studio attached to the project...yet.
