Doing My Part to Help Oklahoma Tornado Victims

My station, KMIR (NBC) in Palm Springs, created a drive, in conjunction with the Red Cross, to help the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes. I've been up since five in the morning to help! And it warms my heart to know that there are many people out there who are willing to help!

If you're from the Palm Springs area, please visit us at KMIR6 -- 72920 Park View Drive in Palm Desert -- and donate as little or as much as you can! We'll be here until 7 p.m. tonight!

And this girl is just fantastic (picture below)! She's Hannah from La Quinta, and she emptied her piggy bank to help. Awwww. I wish we could all be like Miss Hannah! What a terrific girl!
