Are We Ever Going to See "Men in Black III?"

The threequel to the highly successful franchise has been plagued with many problems. First, we have the pesky script problems. It's still not finished and obviously not polished! But Sony and director Barry Sonnenfeld went ahead and started shooting in November, supposedly to take advantage of tax breaks in New York.

As you may have heard, the plot involves some time traveling with Will Smith's Agent J going back in time to 1969 to save Josh Brolin's Agent K.

Now, Alec Baldwin, who was scheduled to play the MIB boss in 1969 just left production citing scheduling problems!

But "Men in Black III" is still set to open May 25, 2012. Really? Should Sony just scrap the entire film? Do we even care for a third installment after hearing all these dramas? I wonder what Tommy Lee Jones is thinking about all this.
