"Think Like a Man" 2peats, Beats "Five-Year Engagement," John Cusack! "The Avengers" Flies Atop Overseas Box-Office with $178.4M!

Judd Apatow, Jason Segel, John Cusack, and Jason Statham have nothing on "Think Like a Man." The previous weekend box-office victor repeated its winning performance holding on the top spot amid new competitors.

The romantic comedy based on Steve Harvey's bestselling book, "Think Like a Man" earned $18 million for the No. 1 position, according to studio estimates. Meanwhile, "The Five-Year Engagement," from the studio (Universal) and creative team that gave us "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" failed to impress with an $11.2 million debut at no. 5. But have no fear for the combined powers of producer Judd Apatow and star Jason Segel, the box-office films at No. 2, 3, 4, and 5 were so closed to each other that the positions might shift tomorrow when studios release their final tally.

At No. 2 was "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" featuring the voices of Hugh Grant, David Tennant, Jeremy Piven, and Salma Hayek earned $11.4 million. Zac Efron's "The Lucky One," based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, moved down to No. 3 with $11.3 million.

At No. 4 was "The Hunger Games" with $11.25 million. The box-office titan has made $372.5 million in the domestic box-office and it's now only $10 million behind the top-grossing finale of the "Harry Potter" series.

The sweet romantic comedy, "The Five-Year Engagement" debuted at No. 5 with $11.2 million. I enjoyed this movie so what the heck are you all waiting for?

Oh I get it, y'all are waiting for next week's "The Avengers" right? Which, by the way, debuted this week in some international markets, and guess what? It made lots of money, surprise surprise!

Directed by one of my cinematic gods, Joss Whedon, "The Avengers" debuted at the top of international box-office with a head-spinning $178.4 million take!

How much do you think "The Avengers" will make in its domestic box-office debut next weekend? As you ponder that, here are the Top 10 Box-Office Films for weekend of April 27th:
