OH NO! NO ACTORS FOR THE GOLDEN GLOBES!!!

According to Screen Actors Guild president Alan Rosenberg, not one of the more than 70 actors nominated for a Golden Globe will attend the January 13th ceremonies!

Why? Because of the WGA's plans to picket the event!

And the stars are not going to cross the picket lines!

Rosenberg said, "after considerable outreach to Golden Globe actor nominees and their representatives over the past several weeks, there appears to be unanimous agreement that these actors will not cross WGA picket lines to appear on the Golden Globe Awards as acceptors or presenters."

"We applaud our members for this remarkable show of solidarity for striking Writers Guild of America writers."

Meanwhile, Dick Clark Productions (the production company behind the Globes) responded saying, "Dick Clark Productions has reached out to the WGA on numerous occasions, from the very beginning of the WGA strike, and offered to enter into an interim agreement similar to the agreement reached by Worldwide Pants on behalf of the "Late Show with David Letterman" for the "Golden Globe Awards" -- as well as all of our other programs. We are disappointed that the WGA has refused to bargain with us in good faith. It is apparent that we are being treated differently from similarly situated production companies.

"Dick Clark Productions is an independent production company that is not a member of the AMPTP and which has not authorized the AMPTP to represent it in the 2007 WGA negotiations. We support the WGA in their efforts on behalf of writers and hope that they will reconsider their position with regard to negotiating an interim agreement with us."

So what's going to happen next? Stay tuned...

WHO IS THE LATEST STAR TO CLIMB ABOARD THE STARSHIP ENTERPRISE? YOU WILL BE SURPRISED!!!

Okay y'all, first, I was excited about the new "Star Trek" film from director J.J. Abrams (the fanboy buzz around "Cloverfield" is deafening as well).

I liked this casting choice .

Heck, I'd even live with this one .

But now, I've been scratching my head since Friday trying to figure out this new casting choice. Apparently, he will play the head of the Starfleet Academy where the young crew of the USS Enterprise first meets and trains.

WILL HE DO IT IN DRAG?

WILL HE PLAY THE MOTHER OF NICHELLE NICHOLS' UHURA, ALA JOHN TRAVOLTA IN "HAIRSPRAY?"

WHO IS IT?

CHRISTINA AGUILERA AND KATIE HOLMES TO WALK ACROSS "HUMBOLDT PARK"

According to Teen Hollywood, Christina Aguilera and Katie Holmes have signed to star together in a new movie.

The pair will team up in family drama "Humboldt Park," which will begin shooting in February - just weeks after Aguilera is due to give birth to her first child.

A source says, "Holmes is trying to prove she can do more than fluffy popcorn movies", and starring alongside Aguilera "shows she's willing to take risks."

WHAT? WHO IS THIS SOURCE? "PIECES OF APRIL" WASN'T A POPCORN MOVIE...AND YEAH, STARRING WITH A NEWBIE AGUILERA WILL SHOW "SHE'S TAKING RISKS" DEFINITELY! I SMELL FAILURE!!!
