
Nicolas Cage finds another box-office loot as "National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets" gained $20.2 million, making it the number one film for the third straight weekend.
Meanwhile, a small "boutique" film, "Juno," managed to nab $16.2 million making this movie the small little wonder at the box-office. I guess all those "South Park" cross-promotional marketing efforts the "Juno" folks did over the weekend worked huh?

The National Society of Film Critics crowned "There Will Be Blood" the Best Picture of the Year for 2007. They really love this film based on Upton Sinclair's "Oil."

Alright y'all, this is why I chose to be a struggling film critic. I love being showered with screeners, and watching them all in the comforts of my own abode!
Now, I didn't take this picture to make you jealous, but to let you know, I really value my stash, and I protect them firecely!
I don't loan them, share them, sell them, or God forbid, post them online! No, no, no!
But I do, studiously, watch each and every one of them, sometimes, over and over, so I can make the best value judgement with my awards choices (I vote for the Critics Choice Awards).
