"The Bucket List" kicks off the box-office weekend gaining $19.5 million buckaroos!
I'm not a big fan of this film! With a strong pedigree of Nicholson, Freeman, and director Rob Reiner, I was expecting nothing but the best! But what we got is a soapy-sudser with a predictable, sentimental plot!
Oh, well.
Here's the complete list of the top 10 box-office films for week of Jan. 11th:
1. "The Bucket List," $19.5 million.
2. "First Sunday," $19 million.

According to Handbag, director Tim Burton has admitted that Sacha Baron used padding in his trousers when filming the musical "Sweeney Todd."
"Borat" and "Ali G" star Sacha Baron Cohen's confidence took a knock yesterday when "Sweeney Todd" director Tim Burton let the cat out of the bag about his impressive performance in the upcoming musical by admitting Cohen had used padding to achieve a prodigious trouser bulge.
"I thought he was just happy to do a musical!" Burton explained. "I didn't ask [how he did it]. But I was happy when I saw it."
And let me tell ya, Cohen's big bulge is the most frightening thing about the movie!

Teen Hollywood is reporting that pop superstar Justin Timberlake is set to take his relationship with actress Jessica Biel to the big screen. The couple are currently looking for a movie project to work on together and are trying to agree on a suitable genre.
Apparently, Justin wants to do a comedy, while Jessica wants something grittier (she rocks in "The Illusionist").
Hhhhmmmmmm, let's see, they should do a dark comedy!
Meanwhile, Miss Biel, who wants darker roles, is set to do a romantic comedy! What?
But hold on folks, it's a film based on the Noel Coward play called "Easy Virtue." Biel will play an American divorcee, Larita Huntington, who travels to the South of France and marries a young wealthy Englishman John Whittaker, to be played by Ben Barnes, on the spur of the moment.
The couple return to England to face his unapproving family, including his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Whittaker, played by Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas.
Like "Meet the Whittakers!"
But I'm sure Australian director Stephan Elliott, the guy who gave us "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" will put his original spin!
