Best Actress Tie, More "Slumdog" Love, and A Truly Wonderful Evening! Inside the 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards

Oh what an enchanted evening! I had a blast attending my first ever Critics' choice Awards.

I've been a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association for almost 5 years now, but I hadn't attended our esteemed awards show until last night.

Oh I vote every year, but time was not with me until now.

So I prepared, rented my tuxedo (yay! dress up!), and embraced a fun night of food, drinks, great friends, and star-watching. But above all, it was a night devoted to excellence in cinema from the watchful eye of film critics.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were there, Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, Frank Langella, Clint Eastwood, many iconic actors shared the fun! And oh my, the lovely Evan Rachel Wood from "The Wrestler" recognized me (I interviewed her for the film) and gave me a hug. I'm blessed :happy

I agree with most winners, some of my favorites didn't win, but cliche or not, I was glad that they were nominated.

Check out the full list of winners right here.

Oh yeah, and yours truly was seen nationwide. I hammed it up on two video montage, the first about "film criticism," and the other, about the "best picture" nominations.

Wanna see them?

The first video they used of me, I was talking about my ratings system. I said "a great movie deserves 4 kisses." :happy

Here's the link: VH1 Clip 1

The second footage they used? Me channeling the great Angelina Jolie in "Changeling" with my "He's not my son" rendition. It's a bit funny :wink I was nervous because Jolie was in the crowd, ooops.

And here's the link: ... vid=330093

And the Critics' Choice crediting me for the Best Made for Television Movie category for "Recount" and "Coco Chanel." Plus, Sarah Silverman is just too damn funny!

So there you have it lovely readers, a fun fun evening! Looking forward to more great movies in 2009, and yes, to more dressing up in my lovely tuxedo :tongue

Mickey Rourke in Talks for "Iron Man 2"

The hot, hot career of Mister Mickey! Now, he's in talks to star in "Iron Man 2" as Crimson Dynamo! Just take a look at the picture, an evil version of Iron Man.

Meanwhile, Mister Sam Rockwell is also in talks to star in the sequel.

Rockwell will also play a villain, but Marvel hasn't disclosed his role yet. Let the fanboys guess!

Paramount is set to distribute the film summer of 2010!
