Would You Watch An "Entourage" Movie?

Yes it's finally happening, an "Entourage" movie is in the works! This is a pet project of Warner Bros. that is based on the hit HBO series featuring Adrian Grenier (Vincent "Vinnie" Chase), Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy), Kevin Dillon (Johnny Drama), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle), and Jeremy Piven (Vinnie's super-agent Ari Gold).

The show's creator, Doug Ellin, has written the script and will direct. This one will be a sequel to the series and will happen six months after the finale and will concentrate on Ari's next move.

There's no shooting date scheduled yet, because first, Warner must make sweet deals with the show's stars.

This whole HBO series-to-film translation is very similar to a previous HBO series-to-film translation -- "Sex and the City!"

Barbra Streisand to Perform at the Oscars!

She's a two-time Oscar winner and now, Barbra Streisand is returning to perform on the upcoming Oscar telecast on February 24.

And she has not performed at the Oscars for 36 years!

The last time Streisand sang at the Academy Awards was in 1977 performing her Oscar-winning song, "Evergreen," from "A Star is Born."

We don't know yet what song she will be performing, but we do know that the theme of the evening is the perfect combination of movies and music and it's right up her alley! The upcoming Academy Awards will pay tribute to contemporary musicals including "Les Miserables," "Chicago," and "Dreamgirls."

Here's the rest of the press release:

"In an evening that celebrates the artistry of movies and music," said producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, "how could the telecast be complete without Barbra Streisand? We are honored that she has agreed to do a very special performance on this year's Oscars, her first time singing on the show in 36 years."

Streisand won her first Oscar for Best Actress in "Funny Girl" (1968), and was nominated again in 1973 for her lead performance in "The Way We Were." She was also nominated for producing the Best Picture nominee "The Prince of Tides" (1991), which she also directed, and for co-writing the original song "I Finally Found Someone" from "The Mirror Has Two Faces" (1996).

Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be presented on Oscar Sunday, February 24, at the Dolby Theatre™ at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 225 countries worldwide.
