Sarah Palin the Movie! Really?
Two, count that two, screenwriters are vying for the right to make a movie about the Alaskan Governor, and failed Vice-Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin.
First, we have Dustin Lance Black of "Milk" saying, "I'm always down for politics as humour. I'm also interested in great characters."
Then, we have "The Visitor's" Thomas McCarthy who wants to focus his Palin project on the teenage boy who impregnated the Governor's 17-year old daughter, Bristol.
McCarthy says: "This young man gets his girlfriend pregnant and ends up on the Republican platform at the National Convention. There's a dark comedy there somewhere. He was like a deer in the headlights."
Now, don't get too excited yet. Both films are just in the beginning stages right now.
But I'm wondering, will Tina Fey act in any of the movies?

As you found out all the drama last Friday, you know, Universal dumping Dreamworks because they found out the Spielberg-company was also secretly wooing Disney.
It's like one of the subplots in the weekend's box-office champion, "He's Just Not That Into You."
Well, Disney really is into Dreamworks because the Mouse signed a deal!
According to Variety:
Disney has inked an exclusive long-term distribution arrangement with DreamWorks.
Under the terms of the arrangement, Disney, under the Touchstone banner, will handle distribution and marketing for approximately six DreamWorks films each year. The first DreamWorks pic would bow in 2010.
DreamWorks principals Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider partnered with Mumbai-based Reliance in the fall to form a new company and immediately inked a distribution deal with Universal. The U deal fell apart Friday after the studio found out that DreamWorks was in negotiations with Disney.
"We're both thrilled and honored to be marketing and distributing all of DreamWorks' signature upcoming live-action motion pictures and to begin a new relationship with such respected colleagues as Steven, Stacey and their creative team at DreamWorks," Disney chairman Dick Cook said. "Steven has made some of the biggest and most loved films of all-time, and continues to be one of the great icons of our industry. Stacey has an impeccable reputation and a phenomenal track record for making a wide variety of quality films. Their motion pictures will be the perfect compliment to the already robust slate of Disney and Touchstone films being made by Oren Aviv and his team."

"Slumdog Millionaire" continues its awards-season momentum by winning 7 at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA). Meanwhile, Kate Winslet picked up the Best Actress award for "The Reader" and Mickey Rourke for Best Actor for "The Wrestler."

Moviegoers have fallen into "He's Just Not That Into You." The romantic flick nabbed $27.5 million to debut at No. 1.
Previous No. 1 film, "Taken" fell down to No. 2 with $20.3 million, that's just a little drop from its previous No. 1 numbers of $24.7 million.
Meanwhile, "Coraline," featuring the voice of Dakota Fanning, debuted at No. 3 with $16.3 million. The other Fanning-starrer, "Push" didn't fare as well. The action-adventure debuted at No. 6 with $10.2 million.
Steve Martin's unnecessary Inspector Clouseau sequel, "The Pink Panther 2" debuted at No. 4 with $12 million.
