The Jonas Brothers Will Invade Theaters Near You! Yeah, "Surprise Theater Invasion"

Tweens rejoice! The Jonas Brothers may visit a theater near you to support their upcoming concert "rockumentary," “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.”

So, from my lovely Disney folks, the movie is about:

The JONAS BROTHERS head to the big screen—in Disney Digital 3-D™—in a high-energy Walt Disney Pictures rockumentary feature film event from director Bruce Hendricks (“Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert”). The film blends excerpts from the Brothers’ red-hot “Burning Up” concert tour, including guest performances from Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, off-the-wall segments, a never-before-heard song (“Love Is On Its Way”), swarming fans and a lot of JB-style humor—giving fans never-before-seen insights into the lives of KEVIN, JOE and NICK.

The film opens nationwide on February 27, 2009.

And here's the full press release! Now, start saying your prayers so you'll get the special chance to meet your favorite Jonas brother!

The Future of Heath Ledger's Final Film

So Mister Heath won a much-deserved Best Supporting Actor Oscar, but what's in store for his last film, Terry Gilliam's ""The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?"

As you may have heard, Jude Law, Colin Farrell, and Johnny Depp stepped in, to help finish the movie that was caught in the middle of Ledger's untimely death.

So, what's going on with it? Why is it taking so long to be released? Is it done?

Find out, right here.

"Juno's" Diablo Cody to Produce Romantic Zombie Flick!

In the grand tradition of reinventing the "zombie genre," "Juno's" scriptwriter, Diablo Cody, is stepping in to produce the film adaptation of "Breathers: A Zombie's Lament" by S.G. Browne for Fox Searchlight.

The studio also produced "Juno," and Cody's upcoming flick, "Jennifer's Body."

I haven't read the book yet (the book is on sale March 3rd), but it sounds interesting. I think this will be my next read. Amazon says:

Meet Andy Warner, a recently deceased everyman and newly minted zombie. Resented by his parents, abandoned by his friends, and reviled by a society that no longer considers him human, Andy is having a bit of trouble adjusting to his new existence.

But all that changes when he goes to an Undead Anonymous meeting and finds kindred souls in Rita, an impossibly sexy recent suicide with a taste for the formaldehyde in cosmetic products, and Jerry, a twenty-one-year-old car-crash victim with an exposed brain and a penchant for Renaissance pornography. When the group meets a rogue zombie who teaches them the joys of human flesh, things start to get messy, and Andy embarks on a journey of self-discovery that will take him from his casket to the SPCA to a media-driven class-action lawsuit on behalf of the rights of zombies everywhere.

Darkly funny, surprisingly touching, and gory enough to satisfy even the most discerning reader, Breathers is a romantic zombie comedy (rom-zom-com, for short) that will leave you laughing, squirming, and clamoring for more.

No offense to planned scriptwriter, Geoff Latulippe, but I hope Cody will add her endearing quips to the script!

Meet the Cast of "Fame" -- Remember Their Names!

I enjoyed the 1980 film directed by Alan Parker and starring Irene Cara. The soundtrack became a hit, and empowered many dreamers -- young boys and girls alike!

As we told you back in August of last year, Lakeshore Entertainment is pirouetting forward with the reboot!

And today, I received all these "Fame" goodies! We have some photos, and a synopsis! Yay!

The film will be released on Sept. 25th of this year. The plot?

A reinvention of the original Oscar®-winning hit film, Fame follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts, a diverse, creative powerhouse where students from all walks of life are given a chance to live out their dreams and achieve real and lasting fame...the kind that comes only from talent, dedication, and hard work.

In an incredibly competitive atmosphere, plagued by self-doubt, each student’s passion will be put to the test. In addition to their artistic goals, they have to deal with everything else that goes along with high school, a tumultuous time full of schoolwork, deep friendships, budding romance, and self-discovery.

As each student strives for his or her moment in the spotlight, they’ll discover who among them has the innate talent and necessary discipline to succeed. With the love and support of their friends and fellow artists, they’ll find out who amongst them will achieve Fame…

The cast includes Asher Book as Marco, Kristy Flores as Rosie, Paul Iacono as Neil, Paul McGill as Kevin, Naturi Naughton as Denise, Kay Panabaker as Jenny, Kherington Payne as Alice, Collins Pennie as Malik, Walter Perez as Victor, and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle as Joy. Their instructors include Debbie Allen as Principal Simms, Charles S. Dutton as Alvin Dowd, Kelsey Grammer as Joel Cranston, Megan Mullally as Fran Rowan, and Bebe Neuwirth as Lynn Kraft.

Finally, the Governator Confirms He'll Do Cameo for Stalone's Upcoming Film

After days of speculations, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that yes, he'll join Ben Kingsley, Eric Roberts, and Mickey Rourke in the Sylvester Stallone-directed film, "The Expendables."

Schwarzenegger says:

"Since I've become governor I've done three cameos. Sly asked me if I would do a cameo, and I said of course I'll do a cameo. I enjoy him, he's a terrific director and actor and we hang out a lot of times together."

Filming is scheduled to start shooting next month, so the Governor is going to take some time off to work on the film.

What about the budget crisis in California?

"It has nothing to do with the budget crisis, or the budget negotiations, because that will take place sometime in April, May or June."

You know what? I bet you? Schwarzenegger is thrilled to return in front of the cameras after the real-life hard work of being a Governor, and to try to save California from an impending budget disaster!
