Back in Dec. 2008, we first told you that Ben Stiller was ready to revisit Derek Zoolander, the dim-witted model character he lovingly portrayed in "Zoolander." (Check our post right here)
Now DeadlineHollywoodDaily is saying "Tropic Thunder" and "Iron Man 2" writer Justin Theroux is collaborating with Stiller on the script. Theroux, who's also set to direct the sequel, is going to Fashion Week in Paris to immerse himself on what is current in fashion!
There's no deal set for Stiller's original co-star in the film, Hansel aka Owen Wilson, but so far, Jonah Hill, who's under negotiations, may play the villain in the sequel.

EW.com tells us that Bradley Cooper has exited the long-gestating spy comedy "This Means War" leaving co-star Reese Witherspoon, director McG ("Terminator Salvation"), and Twentieth Century Fox.
His reason? Scheduling conflicts with "The Hangover 2!"
But I thought the "Hangover" sequel was not shooting until the fall and "This Means War" was slated to go in production in July? Is it really scheduling conflict Mister Bradley?
Well, EW.com is exclusively reporting that, it's really about the creative direction of the film.
But a source close to Cooper says that the actor had creative concerns regarding the project, which centers on two spying best friends whose relationship falls apart when they both fall for the same woman (Witherspoon). The source says Cooper had some issues with the script, which has been through numerous iterations since Fox originally purchased it back in 1998. The most recent draft is from Role Models scribe Timothy Dowling. Cooper’s reps declined to comment.
It isn’t clear what Fox will do now. The script was a priority project, and there is no word on who the studio will reach out to first as a replacement for Cooper.
So lesson learned, when a star says "scheduling conflicts," there's more drama behind that!

Anthony Hopkins is set to star in a supernatural thriller from New Line called "The Rite." Swedish director Mikael Hafstrom, the guy who gave us "1408," is helming from a script by Michael Petroni ("Queen of the Damned," "Possession," "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader").
Based on the book by Matt Baglio which was based on true events, the story focuses on an American seminary student who finds his faith while attending exorcism school at the Vatican. His encounters with demonic forces realigns him with God.
Hopkins will play a priest who's an expert in exorcism with non-traditional methods.
This sounds like a reboot of "The Exorcist!"

The Hollywood Reporter shared with us that Marvel is conducting screen tests this week in its search for the actor to play Steve Rogers, the alter ego of Captain America in the big-screen adaptation!
Joe Johnston ("The Wolfman" director) has been hired since November of 2008 (Check our original story right here) and it's taking them long to find their hero!
This new film will see Captain America's World War II roots and his eventual membership with Marvel's superhero team the Avengers. (Check out "Captain America's" plot breakdown right here)
So here's the list of the actors hoping to play Steve Rogers aka Captain America. These actors have either tested or are expected to screen test this week and next at Marvel's Manhattan Beach headquarters.
Who do you think should play the part? Let me tell 'ya, all these actors have the good, old American boy look!
First, we have JOHN KRASINSKI -- a possibility! A fine actor who's already popular from his role in "The Office." He also possesses such an incredible aw shucks charm!
Then, we have MICHAEL CASSIDY from "Smallville"
PATRICK FLUEGER from the show "The 4400," he also appeared in "Brothers" with Natalie Portman, Tobey Maguire, and Jake Gyllenhaal
WILSON BETHEL who starred in "Generation Kill"
MIKE VOGEL from "Cloverfield"
"Gossip Girl's" CHACE CRAWFORD is also in talks to screen test -- he's flaunting his body already!
GARRET HEDLUND, star of the upcoming "Tron," was set to test but backed out because of scheduling conflicts. Oh, he will return to test, you wanna bet?
Also having scheduling conflicts is "Supernatural's" JENSEN ACKLES
Marvel had the same dilemma when the studio was looking for its "Thor." The role eventually went to Chris Hemsworth after testing many actors.
So, the criteria for the role?
*** oh yeah, American, since it's, um, Captain America
But THR is saying that the search could widen to include British or Australian actors if the studio could not find American candidates.
