Miss Reese is set to voice the film "Monsters vs. Aliens." It's a reinvention of the 50's monster flick genre, and the film tells the story of a California girl Susan Murphy (Witherspoon), who is unexpectedly clobbered by a meteor full of alien goo and mysteriously grows to 50 feet tall!!!
It's intriguing and sorta exciting, but Rob Letterman, the guy who gave us the stinky "Shark Tale" is attached to co-direct. Thank the film gods he's co-helming with Conrad Vernon of "Shrek 2."
“Monsters vs. Aliens” is scheduled to open March 27, 2009 from Paramount Pictures.
