I can never say it enough, but "Role Models" is my favorite comedy of 2008 -- better than "Tropic Thunder" or "Pineapple Express" in my humble opinion.
So it's heartwarming to know that "Role Models" director, David Wain is in talks to helm "Little Fockers."
"Little Fockers" is the three-quel of sorts in the "Meet the Parents" franchise. The script is being written by John Hamburg ("Along Came Polly," the upcoming "I Love You, Man"). Ben Stiller, Robert DeNiro and Owen Wilson are in talks to return, but the director of the first two films, Jay Roach, is going buh-bye.
But have no fear "Fockers" fans, Wain will do a great job with the third installment IF negotiations are finalized and inked!
So, our friends at MTV sat down with the director, and this is what he had to say:
“I read that,” he said. “Yeah! I read that I think on the MTV Movies Blog.”
“No comment. Let’s keep it mysterious.”
What, you can’t give me anything? I thought we were boys…
“I’m offering you a very cool hip mysterious no comment.”
But you’re in the running, right? Wink, wink…
“Discussions are being had.”
And more discussions about this film still to come!

I've always thought that deep inside the first two "Fantastic Four" movies lie a really great franchise! But that just became wishful thinking after watching the sequel.
Director Tim Story just doesn't have enough comic-book wherewithal to fully realize "Fantastic Four's" potential!
So I jumped for joy upon hearing that 20th Century Fox is gearing up for a reboot, a whole new re-visualization of "Fantastic Four."
Our comrades at IESB are exclusively reporting that "the franchise is looking to be 'less bubble gum' this time round following the 'Iron Man' template, which was a complete success in reviews and box office take but a bit darker when it came to its superhero."
A darker, funnier, twisted take on "Fantastic Four." Flame On! No pun intended

Set in medieval Persia, the story of an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. Which is why after the prince was tricked by a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that turns out to destroy a kingdom and transforms its populace into ferocious demons. In his effort to save his own kingdom and redeem his fatal mistake, it's up to the prince and the princess to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, which also gives him a limited control over the flow of time.
Here are the new pics of Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan.

As we, meaning you and me, knew already since last week, Dakota Fanning's camp officially announced that the actress is joining the "Twilight" franchise and is set to star in the sequel, "New Moon."
The actress is going to play Jane, a mean vampire with a child-like, angelic exterior who works for the Volturi.
This is exciting! Have I told you I absolutely adore Fanning? She was a child prodigy who could out-act any adult, and now that she's in a precarious stage (no longer tween, not yet adult) it'll help her career tremendously being attached to a franchise, and to a role that she can literally sink her teeth into, yes, pun intended
Shooting is set to start later in March.
Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale, revealed to People Magazine:
"We did just get a script. We're shooting the rest of the films back to back. (Director) Chris Weitz is amazing and I think it's going to be wonderful."
Let's hope and pray!
