The last time we saw a Tony Scott movie was back in 2006 for "Deja Vu." So it's a welcome treat to see a new film from the director even though the plot is very similar to "The Cassandra Crossing."
Scott's thriller will be called "Unstoppable" and it's about an unmanned runaway train carrying toxic chemicals. Very similar to "The Cassandra Crossing" where passengers of a European train have been exposed to a deadly disease.
I loved that movie as a child. I guess I was happy with all these disaster flicks
Just to travel back in time, take a look at the trailer for "The Cassandra Crossing."

Matthew McConaughey is set to play another lawyer in the upcoming legal thriller, "The Lincoln Lawyer."
Based on the book by Michael Connolly, McConaughey is attached to star as low-level criminal defense attorney Michael Haller who has to defend a super-rich client. The problem is, this wealthy customer may have ties to a previous murder case that Haller handled.
The last time McConaughey starred as a lawyer, effectively, was in "A Time to Kill" based on a John Grisham novel.

Besides his famous role as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire has also played a jockey in "Seabiscuit," and now, he's set to take on a Grand Prix driver role in "The Limit."
The project is going to be based on a book by Michael Cannell that is not coming out until the fall.
Anthony Peckham is set to write the script. He wrote the upcoming Clint Eastwood-directed flick "The Human Factor" and "Sherlock Holmes" directed by guy Ritchie, starring Robert Downey Jr.

Aw, we make such a great couple? Me and my new BFF, B.O.B. from "Monsters vs. Aliens." Yes, this animated film is an out of this world delight, and it's truly best seen in 3-D.
This new InTru 3-D thingie that DreamWorks cooked up? It's great! I didn't get a headache at all! So try to watch this film in 3-D.

Okay, before you guys hyperventilate, the affair didn't happen now, it occurred decades ago in the 1970s when Cloris Leachman and Gene Hackman were both younger.
The 82-year old actress is writing a memoir called Cloris where she revealed her affair with Hackman. It started with a nice dinner, then finished off with a hot, steamy passionate tryst in San Francisco where both were shooting films.
Here's an excerpt:
"As we moved into the main course, it was as if a cosmic wind enveloped us. Some giant space magnet was pulling us together. We didn't finish the meal. We went upstairs, flew into bed and made love. It was epic. And the next morning, Gene went back to his film and I went back to mine. I haven't seen Gene since that night, but I remember well the feisty lad he was."
You go Miss Cloris!
But in all honesty, whatever happened to the Cloris Leachman the respected actress? I missed seeing her in passionate films like her Academy Award winning-turn in "The Last Picture Show."
But at least she's alive and kicking, and enjoying her renewed fame thanks to "Dancing with the Stars." And apparently, she's still thinking of sex
