My movie review of "Repo Men," the new sci-fi dystopian thriller from Universal Pictures starring Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, and Liev Schreiber from first-time feature film director Miguel Sapochnik. Is the film worth your $10? Check out what I think of "Repo Men" below. Oh, and contrary to popular belief, this is not an update of the 1984 Emilio Estevez starrer "Repo Man," this one's based on Emilio Garcia's novel The Repossession Mambo.
Here's more info on "Repo Men" from Yahoo:
Humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called The Union. The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if you don't pay your bill, The Union sends its highly skilled repo men to take back its property... with no concern for your comfort or survival. Remy is one of the best organ repo men in the business.

Wow, Summit Entertainment is upping the ante in the director department for the fourth installment of the super-popular "Twilight" franchise! According to EW.com, the studio is looking at Academy Award nominated directors to helm Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner for the fourth and final chapter.
The names Gus Van Sant ("Milk"), Sofia Coppola ("Lost in Translation"), and Bill Condon ("Dreamgirls") have been mentioned (pictured left to right).
Van Sant's reps confirmed to EW.com that he's been approached. But I think the biggest problem of the whole franchise is not the directors, but the scripts by Melissa Rosenberg. I would love to see a different scriptwriter tackle the project, and then maybe, an Oscar nominated director. Wait, how about an Oscar nominated writer? Because after all, a great film starts with a great script!

Sigourney Weaver is set to play a vampire queen in "Vamps," a romantic horror-comedy from "Clueless'" Amy Heckerling according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Alicia Silverstone returns to the loving arms of Heckerling to play a beautiful young vampire. Along with fellow New York vivacious vampire Krysten Ritter ("She's Out of My League," "Confessions of a Shopaholic"), the two must make a choice -- love or immortality.
Weaver will play Ciccerus, the vampire who turned the two ladies into bloodthirsty babes. Production is set to start late April.

Ryan Phillipe joins a long list of actors who are vying to wear the red, white, and blue spandex outfit of "Captain America" according to Hitflix.com
As we reported last month, Marvel Studios has been conducting screen tests in search of the actor to play Steve Rogers aka Captain America for the big screen adaptation of the comic book hero titled "The First Avenger: Captain America."
Now, Phillippe must duke it out with Mike Vogel ("She's Out of My League"), Garret Hedlund ("Tron Legacy"), Chris Evans ("Fantastic Four"), Scott Porter ("Friday Night Lights"), Chace Crawford ("Gossip Girl") and Michael Cassidy ("Smallville.") John Krasinski is still considered the leading contender. (See the original article Who Should Play "Captain America?" Meet the Wannabes!)
Marvel bosses are taking their sweet but intricate time to find their hero, although Hugo Weaving has been cast as Captain America's nemesis, the Red Skull.
With all this drama involving the hunt for the actor to play Captain America, it's a wonder Marvel is sticking with the film's scheduled release date of July 22, 2011.
