It's Pretty Freaking Cool to Catch Glimpse of Vampire Bella! See New "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" Teaser!
I say it's about darn time! Bella (Kristen Stewart) shows off her fangs (well not quite) and vampire prowess (a little bit) in the new teaser trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" that was shown exclusively in front of "The Hunger Games" showings this weekend. From what I hear from fans, the vampire transformation of Bella is the most exciting part of the final chapter. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner complete the cast. But will "Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2" opened better than "The Hunger Games?" And will it finally make sense? We'll find out on Nov. 16 when the last chapter bites its way to theaters near you. For now, take a look at the teaser which absolutely teased the heck out of me!

Sorry Bella, Katniss Has More Box-Office Power Than You! "The Hunger Games" Scores Third Biggest Opening Ever!

We all predicted that "The Hunger Games" would take the box-office crown this past weekend but I didn't think we knew just how much! Well, suffice it to say that Lionsgate's "The Hunger Games" was a bonafide box-office bonanza scoring the third-best debut of all time, and the best for any film opening outside of summer! ("The Hunger Games" movie review)

"The Hunger Games," starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Collins from the bestselling young-adult novel by Suzanne Collins," sold $155 million worth of box-office tickets, claiming the top spot and broke box-office records including having the biggest opening for a non-sequel.

The film now sits close to the top of the all-time box-office heap with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" ($169.2 million) at No. 1 and "The Dark Knight" ($158.4 million) at No. 2. "The Hunger Games" rightfully claimed the No. 3 all-time spot scoring a huge opening bigger than any of the "Twilight" films including the franchise's biggest opener, "New Moon" ($142.8 million). (Enter our fun "Hunger Games" contest right here)

"Hunger Games" also scored record-breaking Imax numbers ($10.6 million) giving it a best opening for a 2D Imax non-sequel.

Previous weekend's box-office champ, "21 Jump Street," fell to No. 2. Starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, the big-screen adaptation of the Fox show starring featuring Johnny Depp fell 41 percent with $21.3 million box-office take. So far, the action comedy has a domestic total of $71.1 million. ("21 Jump Street" movie review)

At No. 3 was "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" which continued to shine with $13.1 million. So far, the Universal and Illumination's animated film featuring the voices of Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White, and Danny Devito has a domestic total of $177.3 million.

Here's the Top 10 Box-Office Films for weekend of March 23rd, thereby known as "The Hunger Games" weekend:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet the Young Carrie Bradshaw!
What do you think of AnnaSophia Robb channeling Carrie Bradshaw of "Sex and the City" for the CW show, "The Carrie Diaries." Robb stars as the young Bradshaw in the pilot based on Candace Bushnell's novel, which is of course, a prequel to 'Sex and the City." She's already very Carrie-ish, at least the hair and fashion, right? (Click here for my interview with AnnaSophia Robb for "Race to Witch Mountain." Guess who's with her? Alexander Ludwig, now starring in the big blockbuster "The Hunger Games" as Cato!)
