Meet "Catching Fire's" Johanna Mason

Isn't she fierce?

This is Jena Malone in full character as Johanna Mason, Katniss' nemesis in the "Hunger Games" sequel called "Catching Fire." Johanna was a past winner of the Hunger Games from District 7.

The portrait is courtesy of Capitol Portraits which also showcased Haymitch, Effie, Cinna, and Katniss.

Here's the full synopsis of the sequel:

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE opens on November 22, 2013.

Mark Ruffalo Says No Hulk for Him Until...

Mark Ruffalo, who found the perfect balance to play Dr. Bruce Banner/Hulk in last year's hit "The Avengers" is saying, he won't be back as our friendly green giant until..."The Avengers 2."

That's right folks, there will be no standalone "Hulk" movie just like what director Joss Whedon said when he smashed the idea of "Planet Hulk" calling it nonsense.

The actor posted on his Twitter account:

Mark Ruffalo
A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers2. No plans for stand alone.

Mark Ruffalo
I am not giving up on another stand alone HULK. But it’s not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring.

Ruffalo's comments jibe with what Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige said back in September of 2012 in an interview with MTV.

So there. No standalone "Hulk" movie until perhaps, 2015.

The Truth is Out There? Russell Crowe Finds UFO and Has Video to Prove It...Or So He Says...

Russell Crowe said he had a close encounter of the third kind and it's all caught on tape!

According to THR, the "Les Miserables" star saw the unidentified flying object while trying to catch fruit bats on camera over the Sydney Botanic gardens. The video is a series of time lapse pictures the actor posted on YouTube and his Twitter account yesterday.

Some folks were mocking the purported video evidence but take a look and you be the judge.

Next James Bond Movie? Director Sam Mendes Says NO!

It's a shame!

"Skyfall" is the best James Bond Movie ever in my humble opinion (and also the biggest moneymaker of the franchise reaching $1.1 billion, that's with a b, worldwide), but its director, the visionary Sam Mendes, says he's not coming back for round 2. Awwww :sad

The Oscar-winning flick (best song for Adele and sound editing) tells Empire Magazine that directing "Skyfall" "was one of the best experiences of my professional life, but I have theater and other commitments, including productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and King Lear, that need my complete focus over the next year and beyond." Good enough reason. The man is more concerned about his art, and I like that! So he said no to producers Michael and Barbara Broccoli's "very generous offer."

But even though Mendes is out (and yes, even Dame Judi Dench too), the 24th Bond flick will have Daniel Craig back as our favorite British superspy and the script will be written by John Logan who co-wrote "Skyfall."

Mendes did say that he's open to return to the franchise in the future, if they'll have him again. So why don't the Broccoli's just wait until Mendes is done with his obligations?
