When I first interviewed Ansel Elgort for last year’s “Divergent,” he was a bit shy, meek, sort of unsure of his answers. Fast forward to one year later, meet Elgort, the confident leading man (“The Fault in Our Stars”), the mysterious character actor (Caleb Prior in “The Divergent Series”), and the emerging EDM god/DJ extraordinaire known as Ansolo. He’s pretty quite good actually! And I even name-checked his new singled called “Unite!” Wait ‘until you see his reaction! Oh yeah, we even talked about Madonna, the Queen of Everything!

Octavia Spencer (“The Help”) is a newcomer in the world of “The Divergent Series.” She plays Johanna, the leader of the Amity faction. I sat down with the sweet Oscar-winning actress to talk about her interest in joining the franchise, her character, and what’s beyond the wall? Is there hope?

I love love love Annette Bening! She’s always sweet to interview and she’s a fantastic actress to boot! In the new movie “Danny Collins” she goes mano-a-mano with Al Pacino as his love interest who doesn’t want dinner…yet!
In this interview, we talked about her interest in the character, working with Pacino, and achieving their perfect chemistry!

Bobby Cannavale (“Chef,” “Nurse Jackie,” “Boardwalk Empire”) is great in the new movie “Danny Collins.” He plays Tom Donnelly, the estranged son of Al Pacino’s character. In this interview, we talked about his interest in doing “Danny Collins,” working with Pacino (they worked together in Broadway before for “Glengarry Glen Ross” where Cannavale played the part Pacino played in the film version), and achieving an affecting chemistry with his on-screen wife played by Jennifer Garner.

I quite enjoyed “Danny Collins!” Writer/director Dan Fogelman created an affecting movie about redemption and second chances featuring a fantastic performance from Al Pacino, and pretty much, the whole ensemble including Annette Bening, Jennifer Garner, and Bobby Canavale.
I sat down with Fogelman to talk about the movie, his inspiration, working with Pacino, and the cute kid who plays Pacino’s granddaughter, Giselle Eisenberg. Her name in the movie is Hope.
