So a while back, we posted a fun music video about Julian Sands appropriately called "Prayer for Julian Sands." Well, the fantastic songrwiter, Homer Marrs, is at it again and this time, his focus is on the cult-hit "Heathers." I still love the movie starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, oh and Shannen Doherty too, and I think you'll like this new music video. It's a witty homage to the wonderful dark comedy "Heathers."

The new film starring kapamilya idols Angelica Panganiban and JM De Guzman opened in US theaters. Is “That Thing Called Tadhana” worth your time?
Find out in my review as seen on The Filipino Channel's "Balitang America."

Two big movies for you, we have the animated film “Home” from DreamWorks Animation and “Get Hard” from Warner Bros. Pictures. “Home” is based on The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex and the voice cast includes Jim Parsons (Oh), Rihanna (Tip), Jennifer Lopez (Lucy), and Steve Martin (Captain Smek). This one’s from director Tim Johnson who gave us 1998’s “Antz.”
In “Get Hard,” Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart teamed up for the comedy for first-time director Etan Cohen (writer of “Tropic Thunder”). How is the chemistry between Ferrell and Hart? Is the movie funny or just brutally offensive? Take a look at my reviews of both “Home” and “Get Hard.”

I enjoyed the first film of the series but is the sequel worth the hype? Based on Veronica Roth’s novel, “Insurgent” has Shailene Woodley (Tris), Theo James (Tobias/Four), Miles Teller (Peter), and Ansel Elgort (Caleb) returning to the franchise. One of the new characters is Johanna, the Amity leader, played by Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer. Not returning is original director Neil Burger. In his place is Robert Schwentke. So is this sequel for you? Find out in my review of “The Divergent Series: Insurgent.”

Theo James is such a doll! There I said it! I’m sure all the girls agree! And he’s sweeter in person! I talked to the actor last year for “Divergent” and it’s fun to talk about his second time playing the character of Tobias Eaton aka Four. In this interview, we talked about his experience working with Shailene the second time around, collaborating with a new director (Robert Schwentke), and why fans would want to see the sequel (I told him because Theo James is hotter this time HA!). And, he also wants to briefly talk about my homeland hero, Manny Pacquiao, upon learning that I’m also on The Filipino Channel. Let’s box!
