Nicolas Cage is back in a lukewarm-looking film, that seems to be the specialty of the likes of Jean Claude Van Damme and such.
But this one is co-written and directed by the Pang Brothers, Oxide and Jason, who are remaking their original film with the same title. But "Bangkok Dangerous" sounds very much like a generic martial arts film!
Oh well, the film, out on August 22nd, tells the story of a hitman (Cage) in Bangkok who pulls off a series of jobs, falls for a local woman and bonds with his errand boy.

Director Wes Craven is back with a film he also wrote called "25/8" It's a thriller about a serial killer who returns to his hometown to stalk seven children who share the same birthday as the date he was allegedly put to rest.
