Back in November, we reported about Disney's plans to adapt the popular video game (and one of the oldest contemporary video games -- released in 1989),"Prince of Persia: Sands of Time."
"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" director, Mike Newell, is still set to direct the film, and Disney is aiming for a June 16, 2009 release date.

The Prom king at the box-office this weekend is the remake of the 1980 slasher flick. "Prom Night" took in $22.7 million to debut as the weekend's No. 1 movie.
So that means, Hollywood is going to be making more of these films, cheap, unoriginal, scary flicks because America wants them!
Now, that's a scary thought.
And whoa, Keanu's film, "Street Kings," debuted at No. 2 with an estimated opening of $12 million. Sorry dude.
