Aaron Eckhart to Join Nicole Kidman in "Rabbit Hole"

Right now, Aaron Eckhart is negotiating to co-star with Nicole Kidman in the big screen adaptation of the Broadway play "Rabbit Hole."

Fox Searchlight is behind this exciting project.

My only question is the studio's choice for director. Look, I love "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and I can, perhaps, see the nuance of "Shortbus," but I've never deemed John Cameron Mitchell as a dramatic director.

But, more power to him for wanting to try, and bless Fox Searchlight for believing in him!

The plot? The lives of a happily married couple turn tragic when their 4-year old son died in a traffic accident. Drama! But there's some redemptive qualities to the project, and the play is a tearjerker!

The playwright, David Lindsay-Abaire, is writing the script.

This should be good!

But all these words came from my heart, and I truly support a place where filmmakers are allowed to be creative!

As far as my interview? Here's an excerpt:

Whether you are a filmmaker or a frequent moviegoer, you must occasionally check to see if a movie was rewarded a glorious A or failed with a miserable F. Maybe you never see a film before you read about it first or choose to base your decision on the alphabetical ratings you see on your web browser. After all, letters mean something to all of us. Well, Manny the Movie Guy is different from the other film critics you know, and he thinks every movie deserves a kiss. A refreshing and unconventional critic, reviewer, and interviewer, Manny gets the best out of every movie he reviews and every artist he interviews. He asks questions that a regular moviegoer would like to know the answer to and never looses his sincerity and curiosity whether he is sitting across from Ron Howard or talking to an aspiring filmmaker.

F.A. How did you start your career as a film critic?

M. I’ve always been into films since I was back in Philippines. But I didn’t know that there was a critical way of looking at films until I went to school at Purdue University in Indiana. A professor of mine at Purdue introduced me to the world of film criticism, and from that moment I devoured every film known to men. Back then I was the entertainment editor and film critic for the school newspaper, which was known as the Purdue Chronicle – that was the early 90’s. But little did they know in 12 years, I would be doing this professionally.

This is No April Fool's Joke -- "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" Leaked Online! But There's a Whole Lot Missing!

One month before it comes out, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" has been leaked online!

The work-print copy is supposed to be clear BUT it's missing the one ingredient you want in a special effects-laden film -- namely, the special effects! The leaked copy is without its CGI.

How did it get leaked? Who leaked it? Heads are rolling at 20th Century Fox with an email saying, "This is bad for the industry and ruins the experience for so many people who are excited to see the film."

So folks, please support our friends at FOX and don't download the leaked film! Trust me, you'll be better off waiting until the film's release date on May 1.

(Check MTV for their comprehensive reporting on leaked movies)

Robert Patrick aka T-1000 to Return for "Terminator 5?"

Robert Patrick, the guy who gave Arnold Schwarzenegger a super-hard time in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" as T-1000 is in talks to return to his vicious robot role in "Terminator 5."

McG is directing the fourth film in the franchise, and is set to helm the fifth movie.

Patrick says he's in talks with the director! "Yeah, he talked to me about it. I’m interested. I was listening to him tell me about it. I had no idea that he thought about that.

"I love McG. He’s a great guy... we saw each other and he talked to me about it, so we'll see what happens. The sci-fi genre, and specifically that character, is something I'm very proud of. It's what broke me out big to the world."

Patrick was so memorable in the role, and I believe, so far, that "Terminator 2" is still the best of the series!

New Details on "Clash of the Titans Remake!" Bond Stars to Join Cast! The Plot? More Perseus Drama!

As we reported last year, Warner Bros. is remaking "Clash of the Titans."

Now, we're hearing that "Quantum of Solace" star Gemma Arterton and 007 villain Mads Mikkelsen have signed on to join the cast of "Clash of the Titans."

Both actors will join Sam Worthington who'll play Perseus, the role made popular by Harry Hamlin in the original "Clash."

Arterton will play Io, the love interest of Perseus, while Mikkelson will star as Draco, the warrior.

Apparently, the remake will take the story in a whole, new direction. Arterton reveals to WENN: "The script is very different. Obviously the story is the story, but it's much more about Perseus' mission, and how he deals with being the son of Zeus, and things like that, so it feels a little more about him, and about the issues around that."
