Aw...isn't he sweet? 5-year old CJ from Gainesville, VA is our lucky winner of our huge, monstrous "Monsters vs. Aliens" prize giveaway!
His mom, Amy, entered his name, and CJ is our chosen one!
Here's what his mom said:
I would like to enter my son's name for the monsters vs. aliens contest. My 5 year old son has been counting down the days until it opened. He was one of the 1st to see it on Friday. On Saturday he was in the ER all night getting stitches and of course I promised him a prize when we were done. The store were closed but we went to the toy stores 1st thing on Sunday however the store was sold out of almost everything. He was so upset. We got him the monsters vs. aliens Wii game but he would love these toys and he would give them a great home by playing with them everyday.
So Mister CJ was admitted to the hospital because he fell and split his head open and needed several stitches above his eye, and it was his first visit to the ER so he was very scared
But now, CJ is all smiles, and I'm glad that the "Monsters vs. Aliens" toys brightened his day! He deserves to be happy
Thanks to all of you who participated! We received hundreds of entries. Needless to say, they were all entertaining read.
Until our next contest! Stay tuned...
And, y'all can still see "Monsters vs. Aliens" in theaters! I love this film!

Rejoice Harry Potter fans!
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will open two days early on Wednesday July 15.
The film was originally schedule to open Friday, July 17, but to satisfy fans, like me, it's opening two days earlier. I can't wait for this film! I read the book, and I'm so excited!
For more Harry Potter goodies, go to the film's official website.
And here's more info about the film from our friends at Warner Bros. Pictures:
Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Heyday Films production, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Jim Broadbent, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Timothy Spall, David Thewlis and Julie Walters. The film is directed by David Yates from a screenplay by Steve Kloves, based on the book by J.K. Rowling. David Heyman, the producer of all of the Harry Potter films, is producing the film, together with David Barron. Lionel Wigram is the executive producer.

Watching “17 Again” is similar to eating comfort food. You know it has absolutely zero nutritional value but you like it anyway. It helps when the twinkie in the middle is Zac Efron. “17 Again” celebrates the actor’s coming of age from a singing and dancing matinee idol to a full-blown movie star.
Efron leaves the “High School Musical” franchise just to return to high school in “17 Again.” A fun movie that unabashedly borrowed plot points from films such as “Big,” “It’s a Wonderful Life,” and “Back to the Future.” Read More...

Lee Madden, the guy who gave us the cult film "Hell's Angels '69," died of complications from pnuemonia. He was 82.
Many call Madden's famous film as the "The Citizen Kane" of biker films. And incidentally, Sony Pictures has been planning to remake the flick.
For more of Madden's life, click here, but for now, let's take the time machine and watch the original trailer of "Hell's Angels '69" in celebration of Madden's legacy.

As we broke last week, Ralph Fiennes was in talks to work on an uncredited cameo in the upcoming "Nanny McPhee" sequel.
Well, it's now official! And the second installment is going to be called, "Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang!"
Emma Thompson will reprise her role as the magical nanny, and joining her are Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rhys Ifans, Maggie Smith and Asa Butterfield ("The Boy in the Striped Pajamas").
Thompson will also work as the executive producer, and will write the script.
The plot of the film will revolve on a group of city kids who are forced to move to a farm during wartime.
Susanna White is set to direct, and the production is scheduled to start this summer.
