Three New Actors Join "Nightmare on Elm Street" Remake! One of Them from "Twilight"

"Twilight" actor Kellan Lutz (L), Rooney Mara (Center), and "Terminator" TV show star Thomas Dekker (R) have joined the cast of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" remake!

This reboot is going to be directed by Samuel Bayer, and will co-star Kyle Gallner, in the role that was once played by Johnny Depp in the 1984 original.

Freddy Krueger is going to be played by "Watchmen's" Jackie Earle Haley.

Lutz will play a school jock (aren't they all school jocks in this type of films?), Mara will be an ambitious girl who wants to move out of town, and Dekker will star as a tough dude with girlfriend-issues.

But you know, they're all going to be Krueger's prey.

Lutz is currently shooting "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," so his part will be scheduled later into the production.

"Nightmare" will start shooting May 5 in Chicago!

First Look: "The Twilight Saga; New Moon's" Wolf Pack! Look at Those Abs!

From Left: Paul (Alex Meraz), Sam (Chaske Spencer), Jared (Bronson Pelletier) and Embry (Kiowa Gordon)

Back in March, we revealed the identities of the actors hired by Summit to join "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" as the Wolf Pack.

Now, here they are, in all their half-naked glory! Isn't it hard to shoot in freezing Vancouver without your shirts on? :happy

Director Chris Weitz revealed to USA Today:

"It's not pleasant for the actors. But they have all been good-natured. They show up on location in drenching, cold rain, and I say, 'OK, off with the robes.' "

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" howls in theaters near you Nov. 20!

It's Quentin Tarantino vs. Ang Lee! Take a look at the Cannes Film Festival Lineup!

Okay, can I just tell you now, that I wish I can go :sad

But work schedule prevents me from going to Cannes (May is ratings period for TV and thou shall not leave your post!). So, I'll just regale myself with fantasizing I was there, or, by counting the days before I can see the films in/out competition!

And this year? It's great! Quentin Tarantino ("Inglourious Basterds") will face off with Ang Lee ("Taking Woodstock") while fighting Pedro Almodovar ("Broken Embraces") and kicking Jane Campion ("Bright Star") to the curb.

It's going to be fierce!

But before all the competition hoopla, Disney/Pixar will entertain everyone by opening the event with "Up" (the first ever animated film to kick off the festival!).

Oh, and out of competition? The last film made by Heath Ledger, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" by Terry Gilliam.

Here's the complete line up, oh, and if you're going to Cannes, take pictures for me while I drown my sorrow in Sweeps!
