We know it's bound to happen. One group will always be mad at a blockbuster film! And this weekend, St. Petersburg communists are campaigning against the new "Indiana Jones" movie, complaining that "its portrayal of the Russian villains is insulting and historically inaccurate."
Aren't they happy it's the great Cate Blanchett who portrayed the Russian villain?
But Moscow Communist lawmaker Andrei Andreyev said Saturday "it is very disturbing if talented directors want to provoke a new Cold War."

Nicole Kidman teamed up once again with her "Moulin Rouge" director, Baz Luhrmann, for the western epic, "Australia," co-starring Hugh Jackman.
The plot is interesting:
Luhrmann's film is set in northern Australia prior to World War II and centers on an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a cattle station the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn stock-man (Jackman) to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.
It's been a while since Nicole had a hit, either critical or commercial, so returning back to Luhrmann's arms maybe the key. Plus, I love Hugh Jackman! He's a great actor, and a sweet man in person.
Take a look at the new trailer of "Australia." The film opens November 14.
