New "Spider-Man" Trailer! This One Actually Makes Me Want to See the Movie!
Like most folks, my mind still has fresh memories of the Tobey Maguire/Sam Raimi "Spider-Man" collaboration, so I was hesitant, at least in the beginning, to welcome this new film starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. But I adore director Marc Webb, the guy who gave us the fantastic "500 Days of Summer," so this may be worth it.

And the new trailer, just released by Sony Pictures, is a much, much better representation of the new "Spider-Man." More action, more Lizard (Rhys Ifans), more brooding, more mischief! In shore, more fun!

We'll see if the film will entangle us in a web of entertainment when it opens on July 3rd. For now, enjoy the latest trailer of our friendly, neighborhood "Spider-Man!"

Brand New "Expendables 2" Trailer, Lovingly Introduced by Sylvester Stallone
I enjoyed the first "Expendables," at least until the "business as usual" third act. We'll see on August 17th if the sequel is better than the original. Take a look at this testosterone-filled action extravaganza:

The Expendables are back and this time it's personal... Barney Ross, Lee Christmas, Yin Yang, Gunnar Jensen, Toll Road and Hale Caesar -- with newest members Billy the Kid and Maggie aboard -- are reunited when Mr. Church enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time -- six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way....

Marvel's "The Avengers' Movie Review -- How Many Kisses Do Our Favorite Superheroes Get?

Joss Whedon, the creator of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” is the guiding force behind Marvel’s “The Avengers.” One of the most memorable aspects of “Buffy” was its remarkable usage of team spirit. Together, the gang of Buffy, Willow, Xander, and Giles defeat demons.

Finally, "The Dark Knight Rises" Latest Trailer We've All Been Waiting For! More Selina Kyle, More Catwoman!
And we can understand Tom Hardy as Bane, a little bit. But truth be told, this is the movie I'm really, really looking forward to seeing this summer. July 20 can't come soon enough!

Here's trailer 3 of "The Dark Knight Rises"

Here's more details on "The Dark Knight Rises" from Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox.
