SEQUEL ALERT: "KUNG FU PANDA"

Yes folks, "Kung Fu Panda" made a killing at the box-office, so a possible sequel is unavoidable. The flick entertained the heck out of me, so let's hope and pray that the scriptwriters of the planned follow-up will have a better story to tell.

"THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE" OFFICIAL SITE -- YES, THERE'S A SYNOPSIS

I can't wait that much longer! I have to see the film right now! July 25th seems too far away!

But for now, let's feed our "X-Files" fetish with their updated official site! Pictures, storyline, lots of Mulder and Scully sightings!

Click here to check it out!

But be warned, in the grand "X-Files" tradition (translation: you just have to wait until you see the film), the synopsis on the site says:

In grand "X-Files" manner, the film's storyline is being kept under wraps. This much can be revealed: It is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

AFRICAN FILMMAKERS GET INTO FOCUS

I love my Focus Features! Day in and day out, they release thought provoking films that I absolutely adore! Now, Variety is saying that:

Focus Features has laid the fiscal groundwork to enhance African filmmakers' pics that are made in Africa via its Africa First Program. Five filmmakers will be awarded $10,000 in financing for post or production work on a narrative short that makes use of local film industry resources.

So big :4k to Focus Features for their Africa First Program!
