Leonardo DiCaprio IS J. Edgar Hoover -- the Crossdressing Crime Fighter!

It has been widely speculated that Leonardo DiCaprio will step into J. Edgar Hoover's shoes, and perhaps, stockings and high heels, in the upcoming Clint Eastwood biopic of the FBI crime-fighter.

Now, our friends at Deadline Hollywood are saying that it's now confirmed -- DiCaprio will play Hoover.

"Milk" screenwriter, Dustin Lance Black, has written the script that follows Hoover’s career, from the founding of the FBI in 1935 to his long tenure as director of the crime-fighting organization that lasted until 1972 when he died.

Eastwood is also producing with Brian Grazer and Rob Lorenz through Imagine and Malpaso. Warner Bros. has put the film on fast track, faster than Hoover could put his wig on. :tongue

Josh Brolin Talks About "Jonah Hex!" Check Out Our Fun Interview and Blooper!

I love Josh Brolin, not only is he a good actor, he's a funny person, and really sweet (check out our interview blooper below)! So after much teasing from Warner Bros., "Jonah Hex" comes out this Friday, June 18th.

In this interview:

*** We reminisced about the first time I interviewed him for "No Country for Old Men"
*** He watches my interviews! Yay! I'm elated and embarrassed at the same time!
*** What got him attracted to the role of Jonah Hex?
*** Anti-hero and its relevance to today's society
*** Brand Walsh and the 25 year-anniversary of "The Goonies!"

HAVE FUN!

And then, here's the funny blooper, Brolin goofing off prior to the start of our interview. I told him I wanted to be Megan Fox, and his answer was priceless!

His only human connection is with Lila, whose life in a brothel has left her with scars of her own. Jonah's past is about to catch up with him when the U.S. military makes him an offer he can't refuse: in exchange for his freedom from the warrants on his head, he must track down and stop the dangerous terrorist Quentin Turnbull. Colin Farrell Talks About "Ondine"

My special interview with Colin Farrell about his new film "Ondine" from director Neil Jordan. It's about a man who discovers a woman in his fishing net. Is this woman a mermaid?

In this interview, we talked about:

How he got involved with "Ondine"
Working with Neil Jordan
The setting of the film

Have fun!

Here's more info on "Ondine" from Yahoo:

Syracuse is a simple fisherman who catches a beautiful and mysterious woman in his trawler's nets. The woman seems to be dead, but then she comes alive before Syracuse's eyes and he thinks he may be seeing things. However, with the help of his ailing, yet irrepressible daughter, Annie, he comes to believe that the fantastical might be possible and that the woman (Ondine) might be a myth come true. Ondine and Syracuse fall passionately in love, but just as we think the fairytale might go on forever, the real world intercedes. Then, after a terrible car crash and the return of a dark and violent figure from Ondine's past, hope eventually prevails and a new beginning is presented to Syracuse, Ondine and Annie.

"Toy Story 3" Movie Review

The original “Toy Story” changed the art of filmmaking. Released in 1995, the film became the first full-length animated feature created using CG technology. Fifteen years later, the franchise grows up, the characters feel worn-out, but the magic is still intact.

Even “Toy Story 2” made motion picture history in 1999 when it became the first film ever to be entirely created, mastered, and exhibited digitally. I don’t think “Toy Story 3” will make cinematic history anytime soon but it’s a fitting conclusion to the beloved series.

From director Lee Unkrich to producer-writer John Lasseter, virtually the same creative team that worked on the first two “Toy Story” films returns for the third installment. This time, the filmmakers are playing with darker themes such as aging and abandonment. Read More...
