Here's more info on "X-Men: First Class" from Yahoo:

Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

Why Is There NO Hidden Scene After "X-Men: First Class" Credits? Yes, I Sat Through Them So You Don't Have To!

So I love "X-Men: First Class!" (Check out my "X-Men: First Class" movie review right here)

And like a good movie buff or a Marvel geek, I sat through the credits for the always-dependable hidden scene at the end. So to my surprise, THERE WAS NONE which prompted an irate member of the audience to say, "this is bs, this is not a Marvel movie."

Was he right? Are we accustomed to seeing hidden scenes now after a Marvel film? And if we don't, does it take away from enjoying the movie itself? Of course not, but I was still bummed. Couldn't they have given us some "Wolverine" hidden scene? I know the movie is in limbo, but they could have shot a secret scene right?

The only reason I could come up with is that the next film in the Marvel paradise is "The Avengers." But that's from Paramount, which I'm sure Fox was not about to give any free publicity.

"X-Men: First Class" Movie Review! How Many Kisses Does the Reboot Get?

The time is 1962, John F. Kennedy is our president, and his biggest problems are the Cold War and the impending Cuban Missile Crisis. But who knew that the X-Men mutants were part of that American history?

The beauty of the new "X-Men: First Class" is its clever interweaving of fact and fiction. The film is grounded in realism which makes the spectacle more believable. By infusing real history into the origins of the "X-Men," the franchise is reinvigorated in a very big way. Read More...

Check Out "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" Trailer -- The Feel Bad Movie of Christmas!
Too many quick cuts for my taste, but this teaser/trailer to David Fincher's adaptation of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" based on Stieg Larsson's novel "Man som hatar kvinnor" looks to have the same tone and spirit of the original film version starring Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist.

Will this version be better than the original Swedish film? We'll find out on December 21st when the so-called "feel bad movie of Christmas" is released.
