"HANCOCK'S" HEROIC BOX-OFFICE TAKE!!!

Okay, I'm not a big fan of "Hancock!" From my written review to my TV review, I believe this film is not Will Smith's greatest.

But viewers love Smith, one of Hollywood's most-consistent box-office draws. "Hancock" is his fifth movie to open at No. 1 over the Fourth of July. The others were "Men in Black" and its sequel, "Independence Day" and "Wild Wild West."

It's Will Smith, Mom, apple pie, and the 4th of July!

"Hancock" raised a total of $107.3 million since it opened Tuesday. "WALL-E" came in second with $33.4 million, and "Wanted" landed in third with $20.6 million.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND'S "MIRRORS" -- RED BAND TRAILER!!!

Mister Kiefer hasn't had a hit film in a while. Come to think of it, has he really carried a movie on his own? Well, the film version of "24" is coming out in 2009, and with that hit show's built-in audience, it should be a hit.

But for now, we have to settle with "Mirrors" from director Alexandre Aja (not a whole lot of confidence here, coming from the guy who gave us "P2" and "The Hills Have Eyes"). So I'm thinking, this horror schlock will be a B-movie at best. So we'll see.

The film comes out August 15th, oh and yeah, this is another Korean horror film remake! Here's the premise from IMDB:

Ben Carson (Sutherland), an ex-cop, and his family are the target of an evil force that is using mirrors as a gateway into their home.
