Watch My "Bruno" Movie Review! It's Very Gay-Centric! HA!

I adore Sacha Baron Cohen. He's one of the most politically-astute comedians of his generation. From "Ali G" to "Borat" and now "Bruno," Cohen shines his spotlight on bigotry by using laughter.

I didn't find anything offensive in "Bruno," I thought it was a sharp, funny film, and here's the reason I'm recommending it.

Warner Bros. Wins "Superman" Case!

Warner Bros. and DC Comics won the suit filed by the heirs of "Superman" co-creator Jerome Siegel. Siegel's family wanted money from WB but the Judge has ruled that they could only get a cut from DC Comics' share.

So does that mean that all the planned "Superman" films (whether via "Justice League" or another standalone "Superman" movie) will move forward as planned?

Stay tuned...

Michael Moore's New Movie is a Love Story!

Well, not quite a romantic love story, but Michael Moore's new documentary is titled "Capitalism: A Love Story." The film will be about the global economic meltdown. The cause? Our love affair with capitalism.

During the film's announcement, Moore revealed:

"It will be the perfect date movie. It's got it all -- lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's capitalism."

"Capitalism: A Love Story" will be released on Oct. 2 by Overture films.

Say what you will about Moore, but I think the man is a creative, astute filmmaker and his documentaries can never be ignored. From "Roger & Me" to "Sicko" and "Fahrenheit 9/11" in between, Moore's documentaries incite emotions, reactions, and perhaps, action.

So yeah, needless to say, I'll be in theaters Oct. 2 to watch "Capitalism: A Love Story."

Will Smith Reteams with "I Am Legend" Director! They're Set to Split Off Manhattan!

Will Smith and director Francis Lawrence are back together again.

The two worked on "I Am Legend," and now, both will be working on "City that Sailed."

The premise is intriguing -- a father and daughter living on opposite sides of the ocean love each other so strongly that it causes Manhattan to split off and float across the Atlantic.

So Manhattan is the city that

This project is currently setup at 20th Century Fox and Smith is producing, and may be the star.

The script will be rewritten by "Ocean's Thirteen" writers Brian Koppleman and David Levien. "Truman Show's" Andrew Niccol originally wrote the script.

Right now, Lawrence is also courting Reese Witherspoon to star in "Water for Elephants," an adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel that the director is set to helm. The actress hasn't committed yet.
