Director George Miller made us believe in a young Mel Gibson as "Mad Max" in 1979, heck he even made us believe that animals can talk in "Babe!" Now, the Australian director is making us believe that we need another hero in the form of Tom Hardy in the new "Mad Max: Fury Road."
The "Inception" star slides into Gibson's shoes in the sequel which had all of Comic-Con buzzing when the trailer premiered at the convention.
In the press conference at Comic-Con for the film, Miller said, "Of course it's based on the same character that they'll play, the lone warrior in the wasteland disengaged from the rest of the world."
Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also star. The franchise reboot will debut in theaters on May 15, 2015.
I can't wait to see Tom Hardy in the role of Mad Max! But for now, here's the trailer:

I love Gabriel Iglesias! He’s down-to-earth and humble! And he has come a long way since he was disqualified from NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2006. 8 years later, Fluffy has his own movie and he even starred in the critical and commercial hit “Magic Mike!”
I sat down with the actor this morning for a fun satellite interview. We talked about:
The genesis of “The Fluffy Movie!” What prompted him to document his comedy tour “Unity Through Laughter?”
Which comedians, past or present, inspire him?
Why he is so relatable!
Will he lose weight or be fluffy forever?
Will he be in the “Magic Mike” sequel?
The many benefits of Menudo!

Two big films are out this weekend, which one is worth your time and money? First, we have “Hercules” starring Dwayne Johnson based on the graphic novel by Steve Moore. From director Brett Ratner, is this “Hercules” much better than “The Legend of Hercules” starring Kellan Lutz from director Renny Harlin?
We also have “Lucy” starring Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. This one’s from director Luc Besson who gave us memorable female characters in “La Femme Nikita,” “The Professional,” and “The Fifth Element.” Is “Lucy” worthy of Besson’s booty-kicking heroines? Find out in my movie review below:
Official “Hercules” synopsis
Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures' film HERCULES, starring Dwayne Johnson, bows on July 25th. Based on Radical Comics' Hercules by Steve Moore, this ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth, HERCULES. The epic action film also stars Golden Globe Winner Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan and Academy Award (R)-nominee John Hurt. (C) Paramount
Official “Lucy synopsis”
From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.
