Hillary Swank to Adapt "French Women Don't Get Fat"

Hilary Swank and her producing partner Molly Smith have acquired the rights to adapt the bestselling book "French Women Don’t Get Fat."

For now, Swank is just producing but she may star in the film being envisioned as a romantic comedy.

Written by Mireille Guiliano, it may be hard to rework a book which is really about eating, drinking, and moving like a French woman.

But Heather Hack, who wrote the remake of "Freaky Friday" and the "Legally Blonde" musical, may do wonders with the screenplay.
