Willem Dafoe "Antichrist"

Willem Dafoe will star with Charlotte Gainsbourg ("I'm Not There") in "Antichrist," which will be directed by Lars von Trier ("Dogville," "Manderlay").

Anders Thomas Jensen wrote the script with von Trier, and production is set to begin this month in Germany.

The film is a psychological thriller/horror that tells the story of a couple (Dafoe and Gainsbourg) who retreat to a cabin in the woods after the death of their child.

But they soon encounter strange, terrifying occurrences.

Ooooh, spooky!

Goodbye Cruise, Hello Jolie! Sex-Change at the Movies!

"Edwin A. Salt" may now be called "Edwina A. Salt."

Once upon a time, Edwin was a male and Tom Cruise was slated to star. Now, the espionage thriller is being re-tailored and retrofitted for the very female, Angelina Jolie.

Philip Noyce ("The Quite American," "Catch a Fire") is attached to direct.

Jolie will playing the title character, a CIA officer who's accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy and must elude capture long enough to establish her innocence.

Jolie is a rare actress who's proved her mettle in the action genre long dominated by men.
