Apparently, Rob Thomas (no, not the Matchbox Twenty lead singer), the creator of the cult-hit "Veronica Mars," has been mulling a big screen version of the TV show.
And Apparently No. 2, show's star, Miss Sarah Marshall herself, Kristin Bell is very involved!
And Apparently No. 3, series' executive producer, Joel Silver, is equally supportive!

Don Mancini, who spent the last two decades bleeding the "Child's Play" franchise into its last remaining drop (yes, he wrote the original "Child's Play" in 1988), is back to rewrite his own creation, and he's also directing the upcoming "Child's Play" reboot!
Another guy in serious need of creative juice!
Look, I love Chucky, I remember watching the original in a theater by myself, and loving it! The successive sequels sucked, but the original was a B-movie flick made with much love and respect for the genre.
So why the heck is Mancini rewriting his own darn masterpiece?
The best part about this remake is that Brad Dourif will return as the voice of Chucky! He's a good enough reason to watch this movie.
*** NOTE: Isn't it funny how all these horror franchises, after the filmmakers run them to the ground with numerous sequels, they all return to the original, hoping to do the freaking cycle all over again?

The unnecessary remake of "The Birds" is not out yet, but the writing duo responsible for that crime is set to write another rehash, this time, it's the super-creepy "Poltergeist."
MGM has hired Stiles White and Juliet Snowden to rip "Poltergeist" into shreds!
Can't these two come up with an original screenplay? One with wit, vigor, and gasp, a script that's creatively original?
I'm just hoping and wishing, and yes, MGM's desperately seeking a director!

Nicolas Cage is set to star in the film version of the Mark Millar ("Wanted") comic book called "Kick-Ass."
The graphic novel's plot is intriguing. A high school loser named Dave Lizewski decides to become a superhero even though he doesn't have any extraordinary abilities. So what happens when he encounters super bad guys with real weapons?
Aaron Johnson will play Dave Lizewski and Lyndsy Fonseca will star as his teenage crush. Cage will portray a former cop who trains his daughter (Chloe Moretz) to be a crime fighter.
Matthew Vaughn ("Stardust" and the soon-to-be produced "Thor") is set to direct.

Director Guy Ritchie (yes, Madonna's hubby who's famous for "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch", and the upcoming flick "RocknRolla" starring Gerald Butler) reveals his plans for his upcoming film version of Arthur Conan Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes."
We all heard that it's going to star Robert Downey Jr., but Ritchie also said:
"It will be a very big production, visceral and intellectual," Ritchie says. "His brilliance will percolate into the action."
It will be set in the olden days, he says, but the emphasis will be as much on Holmes' physical prowess as it is on his keen
powers of deduction.
"His intellect was as much of a curse as it was a blessing," Ritchie says. "He was a deeply layered character."
