Last Friday, we told you that the "the super-hot Ryan Reynolds (that's metaphoric y'all!) may soon star opposite Denzel Washington in the Universal thriller "Safe House" from "Snabba cash" director Daneil Espinosa."
Well now, Deadline Hollywood is saying that Reynolds is now negotiating to play the role of the only surviving agent of an attack on a CIA safe house trying to get a dangerous prisoner (Washington) to another safe house before time runs out.
Espinosa met or considered actors Tom Hardy, Zac Efron, James McAvoy, Sam Worthington and Shia LaBeouf. The script is written by US Weekly editor, David Guggenheim.

Last January, we told you that Sam Worthington was in talks with Universal Pictures to star in Alex Proyas' "Dracula: Year Zero." Now, Encore Magazine is reporting that Proyas and company will be shooting next year in Australia and Worthington is set to star.
Collider is adding further that Worthington will star as the real-life Prince Vlad of Transylvania in "Dracula: Year Zero" and shooting will begin in June of 2011.
The filmmakers are set to do an origins movie where they seek "to depict Dracula as a flawed hero in a tragic love story set in a dark age of magic and war."

Jenny Ash, the Emmy-nominated UK director for "America -- the Story of Us," is planning to work on a Bob Marley biopic according to Deadline Hollywood. This one will focus on Marley's life in London in 1977. Why? It was a colorful year for Marley -- he fled Jamaica, he sustained a soccer injury, and it was also the year of his iconic Rainbow Theater gig.
Ash is adamant to showcast Marley the man, rather than Marley the legend. She tells Deadline, “There’s never been a fiction film about Marley...We’ve never had a sense of him as a real man, as opposed to the legend."
The big problem for Ash and company? They don't have the rights to Marley's songs yet. And a bigger question? Who should play Marley?

Seth Rogen, who last voiced the character B.O.B. in "Monsters vs. Aliens," will return to the world of animation as a ghost! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rogen will team up with DreamWorks Animation again for "Boo U" where he will voice the part of a ghost who must return to ghost school to learn the proper way of spooking folks!
Rogen previously voiced roles in "Horton Hears a Who!," "The Spiderwick Chronicles," and "Kung Fu Panda" and its sequel "The Kaboom of Doom."
"Igor" director Tony Leondis will helm the project, but really, I'm not a fan of that film, so why him?
