I love, love, love "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." It's one of the best sci-fi action films of the year and that's largely due to Andy Serkis' affecting performance as the rising simian leader Caesar. From his portrayal of Gollum in "The Lord of the Rings" films to Kong in "King Kong" to Caesar in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," Serkis knows how to infuse heart to his characters.
In this interview, we talked about:
*** His attraction to making "Rise of the Planet of the Apes"
*** How he differentiates Cesar from his previous roles
*** How he injects heart to his character
*** Is he a fan of the original "Planet of the Apes?"
*** Working in Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit"

This is definitely one of my favorite interviews ever! The trio of P.J. Byrne (Isaac), Arlen Escarpeta (Nathan), and Courtney B. Vance (Agent Block) made it a really fun interview! We laughed, we ruminated, even sang talking about "Final Destination 5."
In this interview, we talked about Vance as the agent of guilt, Byrne as the agent of comedy, and Escarpeta as the agent of reason.
Oh, they also sang, in harmony no less! In the film, everytime Death is about to appear, Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" plays. And so, Byrne, Escarpeta, and Vance sang their hearts out! Call it, "Final Destination" the Musical!
Fun!

Have I told you how much "Final Destination 5" exceeded my expectations? This fifth installment has an excellent twist that you would not be able to predict, and Nicholas D'Agosto (Sam Lawton) and Emma Bell (Molly) were game to play their characters.
But I was excited to meet Tony Todd (Bludworth) as well. Mister "Candyman" himself was super-sweet, and the "Final Destination" audience clearly loved that Todd returned for the fifth film. They all clapped upon seeing his name.
I had fun talking to them, and you will have fun watching the movie.

Jacqueline McInnes Wood (Olivia Castle), Miles Fisher (Peter Friedkin), and Ellen Wroe (Candice Hopper) were a pleasure to talk to! They were promoting their upcoming horror flick," Final Destination 5," and they were excited about the release of the film.
In this interview, we talked about their interest in the film, and if they have experienced premonition much like in the movie.
I was wildly impressed with the fifth installment, and I think you would be too!

“Final Destination 5” surprised the heck out of me. Having exceeded my expectations, the fifth installment of the popular franchise comes with an unpredictable twist that makes the sequel one of the best “Final Destination” movies.
I’m not saying that this is Oscar quality. By all means no. Like most “Final Destination” films, the fifth movie is still saddled with amateurish acting paving the way to unintentionally funny scenes.
But there are genuinely laugh-out-loud moments in the movie. Besides the nervous laughter that each clever but over-the-top death scene elicits, audiences will warm up to some cast members escaping Death’s vengeance. Read More...
