"XXX" the Return of Vin Diesel

Xander Cage is set to return!

Actor Vin Diesel and director Rob Cohen are both in talks for a third version of "XXX" to be called, "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage."

So Diesel, once bowed out of sequels of both "XXX" and "The Fast and the Furious," is now doing BOTH encores. He will reteam with original co-star Paul Walker in the fourth film, "Fast & Furious" which will open next year, June 12.

What's next? "The Pacifier 2?" :wink

"Unbreakable" Sequel? What M. Night Shyamalan is Saying!

Unlike other critics, I actually enjoyed "Unbreakable!" But since then, M. Night's track record has been steadily declining. His last two films were horrendous, specially "Lady in the Water." "The Happening" wasn't as bad, but come on, Mister M. Night, let's see that talent we saw in "The Sixth Sense."

So, it's just fitting that M. Night is revisiting "Unbreakable." And he's talking sequel!

Could it be?
Would it be?

Want to See the Oscars Up Close and Personal? Join the Lottery!

Movie fans eager to see their idols up close will be able to enter a lottery for seats along the red carpet on Oscar night, it was announced today.

Beginning Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, movie buffs and star-gazers can enter an online lottery conducted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for a chance to win one of 300 available seats along the 500-foot-long walkway in front of the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

Following the stars' arrivals, the winners will be invited to watch the Academy Awards telecast at a nearby location.

The lottery will be open for one week only. Applications can only be made online, at www.oscars.org/bleachers.

Applicants can register for up to four seats, but only one form will be accepted per person or group.

People whose names are selected will be notified in early October.

They then will have to submit additional information for security purposes prior to final approval.

Winners will receive a confirmation letter in early December.

In previous years, as many as 20,000 fans have applied online for the bleacher seats. The Academy Awards ceremony for outstanding film achievements of 2008 will be held on Feb. 22, 2009.
