Paul Giamatti will be next seen as the tyrant King John in "Ironclad," a medieval-era action flick. Jonathan English ("Minotaur") will be directing from a script he co-wrote with Erick Kastel.
James Purefoy co-stars as a member of the formidable Knights Templar who defends Rochester Castle against the tyrannical King John and his army in 13th century England.
Giamatti as a villain? I'm so there!
Production begins next month in Wales.

Richard Linklater, the fantastic director who gave us "Dazed and Confused," "Slacker," "Before Sunrise," and "Before Sunset" films among others, is working on a road-trip comedy inspired by President Barack Obama's election victory.
The film is called "Liars (A-E)" from scriptwriter Emma Forrest. Scott Rudin is producing for Miramax.
Rebecca Hall ("Frost/Nixon," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona") is in talks to play a woman who's been dumped by her rocker fiancé on the eve of the president's victorious election.
So what does she do? She takes a road trip with her best friend (played by Kat Dennings) to Obama's inauguration. And along the way, she visits various ex-boyfriends to retrieve lost items.

In 2007, Screenwriter Diablo Cody took the cinema world by storm with her biting, satirical look inside teenage pregnancy in “Juno.” So it's no surprise that all eyes are on her with the much-talked about horror satire “Jennifer's Body” where she also serves as the film's writer and executive producer.

What we got is a half-baked film about the horrors of a character's body yet the movie's heart is missing. Read More...

You know it's just a matter of time before the funny Blue Man Group conquers movie theaters. Now, National Geographic Entertainment has announced that the blue trio will have a big-screen adaptation and it's going to be called "Blue Man Group: Mind Blast."
National Geographic will release the stereoscopic 3D on both Imax 3-D and digital 3-D screens.
"Blue Man Group: Mind Blast" will go out to digital 3-D theaters in different successions and not a big day-and-date release on thousands of screens.
The film stars the the original Blue Men -- Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton. It's a comedy that explores the human mind and brain. Kind of like a comedy version of Christopher Nolan's "Inception." That film explores the dark architecture of the human mind.
