When "The Boondock Saints" opened in 1999, it was a commercial and critical failure. But the film found cult status after its DVD release.
Written and directed by Troy Duffy, Sean Patrick Flanery (Connor) and Norman Reedus (Murphy) star as the McManus brothers who believe that it's their duty to God to get rid of all human evil here on Earth by way of Boston.
The fim's fans' prayers to their favorite saints have been answered because Duffy, Flanery, and Reedus are returning for "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day."
The sequel is opening Oct. 30 this year, so have fun "Boondock" fans!

For the first time ever, an entire studio has been given career recognition at the Venice Film Festival! And that honor goes to Pixar.
The home of Nemo, Woody, and Wall-E received the lifetime achievement award! And it's truly deserving!
The award was given to five Pixar directors including John Lasseter (the first two "Toy Story" films and "Cars"), Brad Bird ("Ratatouille" and "The Incredibles"), Pete Docter ("Up" and "Monsters Inc."), Andrew Stanton ("Finding Nemo" and "Wall-E"), and Lee Unkrich ("Toy Story 3").
Pixar, founded in 1986, has made 10 feature films to date. 4 of those movies have won Oscars!
To make the joyous occasion, the festival premiered 3-D versions of "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2." Both 3-D versions will be shown in the fall.
Pixar merged with Disney three years ago, and the audience was also treated to a few minutes of "The Princess and the Frog." Lasseter, chief creative for both Pixar and Disney animation, is reintroducing hand-drawn animation for the film.
Congratulations to Pixar!

The film is called "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto," and you can watch it now, on demand!
Based on Rob Zombie's comicbook of the same name, the R-rated animated feature made its debut today as a video-on-demand or pay-per-view offering via cable operators Comcast Corp. and Charter and satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network.
The film, directed by Zombie, will also have a limited run in 50 theaters across 22 states.
Then on Sept. 22, "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" will head to DVD and download-to-own platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Xbox and Playstation.
"Superbeasto" tells the story of a sexy crimefighting agent and an over-the-hill wrestler named Beasto. Paul Giamatti, Rosario Dawson, Tom Papa, and of course, Sheri Moon Zombie, provide voice performances to the film.
Zombie is calling the movie, "'Austin Powers' meets 'The Munsters' by way of 'A Hard Day's Night.'"
