Get Ready for "Blue Man Group" the Movie!

You know it's just a matter of time before the funny Blue Man Group conquers movie theaters. Now, National Geographic Entertainment has announced that the blue trio will have a big-screen adaptation and it's going to be called "Blue Man Group: Mind Blast."

National Geographic will release the stereoscopic 3D on both Imax 3-D and digital 3-D screens.

"Blue Man Group: Mind Blast" will go out to digital 3-D theaters in different successions and not a big day-and-date release on thousands of screens.

The film stars the the original Blue Men -- Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton. It's a comedy that explores the human mind and brain. Kind of like a comedy version of Christopher Nolan's "Inception." That film explores the dark architecture of the human mind.

"Let the Right One In" Director to Helm Nicole Kidman in Sex-Change Drama!

Tomas Alfredson, the guy who gave us the fantastic "Let the Right One In" is set to direct Nicole Kidman in true-life sex-change drama "The Danish Girl." (See "Tranny Love! Nicole Kidman Romances Charlize Theron in New Film")

Based on David Ebershoff's novel about Danish painter Einar Wegener (Kidman), who became the first person to go through a sex-change operation to become a woman in 1931!

Charlize Theron, who was attached to play Wegener's wife, Gerda, has left the production. Aw :sad

Alfredson has indicated that he wanted to shoot "The Danish Girl" prior to working on "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy," a John le Carre adaptation.

Jessica Biel, Sharlito Copley to Join "A-Team?"

Jessica Biel and "District 9's" Sharlito Copley are in final negotiations to star in Fox's "A-Team." If their deals go well, Biel and Copley will be joining Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. (See "Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper to Star in "The A-Team?")

Ridley Scott is set to produce and Joe Carnahan will serve as the film's director. The creator of the original TV show, Stephen J. Cannell, will be producing with Jules Daly.

Here's the cast of characters so far:

Liam Neeson -- Col. Johan "Hannibal" Smith
Bradley Cooper -- Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck
Sharlito Copley -- Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock
Jessica Biel -- ex-love of Cooper's Faceman
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson -- Sgt. "B.A." Baracus -- Mr. T played the famous character in the series

Two Films Making Big Splash at the Toronto Internaltional Film Festival

The films "Lebanon" and "A Single Man" are taking over Toronto International Film Festival! Both films won at the just-wrapped 66th Venice Film Festival. "Lebanon" won the festival's Golden Lion while "A Single Man's" Colin Firth won best actor for his role as a gay college professor in Tom Ford's directorial debut. This film is based on a book by Christopher Isherwood.

"A Single Man," set in the 1960s, stars Firth as a gay British college professor coping with the death of his lover. It's the first seven-figure buy of the Toronto film fest. Who bought the US rights to "A Single Man?" The Weinstein Co.! Expect the studio to push this film during Oscar season.

Meanwhile, "Lebanon" is a gripping account of war from inside a military tank by Israeli director Samuel Maoz. It took the top prize at the 66th Venice Film Festival, and many are saying the film will do the same for the Toronto film fest.

The film shares the same spirit with last year's "Waltz with Bashir" so expect Sony Classics or IFC to buy the film. Incidentally, Sony Classics was the studio who bought the rights to "Bashir."
